Pediatric Plastic Surgery

The UCLA pediatric plastic surgery team treats all forms of reconstructive problems in children. We begin to care for patients, in some cases, before birth and then follow them well into adulthood. We also work closely with doctors or other team members such as dentists or speech pathologists to determine the best care plan for each patient. The latest surgical and non-surgical techniques are available at UCLA including microsurgery, laser surgery, interventional radiology and tissue engineering techniques.
We also perform prenatal counseling for expectant parents who are concerned regarding an unborn child who may be affected.
